We had the pleasure of renovating this beautiful 1912 four-bedroom detached home in Northumberland, transforming it into a stunning family residence while carefully preserving its original charm. A key feature of the property — the striking stained glass window — was retained and celebrated, maintaining the home’s strong connection to its heritage.
The renovation focused on respecting the character and proportions typical of its era, while introducing a modern Scandinavian twist. Soft neutral palettes, natural textures, clean lines and thoughtfully designed living spaces create a calm, light-filled interior that feels both contemporary and timeless. The result is a perfect balance of old and new — a home that honours its past while embracing modern family living.
